7 Things You Didn't Know About Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or rings. The item is swapped for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
item modifier can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
